Our beloved member Jared Blair was involved in a bad bicycle accident last month. His helmet saved his life, but he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury and is had full facial reconstructive surgery. He'll be out of work for quite a while so we want to help him financially as a community. If you can give, click here, anything helps.
Also, there is a benefit show next Friday night at Palmers Bar in Minneapolis, All proceeds go to Jared, more info here.

Summer is here again, and we are going to be having our Sunday gatherings at the pavilion at Hidden Falls Park (north gate). Let's enjoy this good weather together in the park instead of indoors. Rain or shine we'll be meeting. Bring a chair or blanket, although there is some seating if you forget.
We'll have a hangout and discussion around the topic of "Stuff in the Bible that makes me want to quite....or just doesn't make sense". Everyone seems to have tough questions, and doubts that come up from scripture, or maybe what we were taught growing up. We want a safe place to talk and wrestle with harder questions. Questions help us grow, and many times we are not allowed to talk about them. All opinions are welcome, and trust us there are not clear answers on any of it, but new perspectives to learn from each of our experiences. This could be a great opportunity to invite friends.
